...and pop will eat itself... a blog about blogging

‘Oh yes Mr Speccy Four Eyes’, I can hear you asking... ‘What makes you an expert on blogging?’

Well, here’s the truth, I’m not an expert. I’m sure that experts would tell you what to do, how to do it, the write style to right in (I know) and how to optimise your blog for maximum impact.

I write lots of blogs for lots of lovely clients (all our clients are lovely, they keep me in pies, Twiz in coffee, Hattie in books and Bex in… well, whatever Bex wants really) and the only things that these articles have in common is that they are readable, easily understood by the chosen audience and succinct.

1. Readable – unless yours is a very technical business, please don’t overload with the detail…we do not need to understand the process of photosynthesis to appreciate a salad.

2. Easily understood – use language that is appropriate to your chosen audience, if you’ve checked the on-line thesaurus more than once per article, you’re probably doing it wrong.

3. Be succinct -

An offer is always good too so here’s one for you.

Send me a subject and I’ll write you a blog, absolutely free of charge, if you publish it smashing, if you don’t… well, we can’t win ‘em all

And, as every Scottish window cleaner says… if I don’t see you through the week, I’ll see you through a windae.
